The Octo Novo Houses are located at the northern edge of the Point Breeze neighborhood, one-half block south of Washington Avenue, between 22nd and 23rd Streets. Our block is home to The Studios @ 2202 Alter Street, a renovated bakery warehouse of 20 professional artist studios. Octo Studio, the high-end sculpture and furniture design business of Andrew Jevremovic, designer and general contractor for the Octo Novo Houses, is just next door. 2200 Alter is a safe, quiet street with 24-hr surveillance cameras and dedicated, caring residents. We do not tolerate crime and have well-established relationships with our neighbors, including the 17th Police District and Engine 24 Fire Department.
